Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Poly Market Maker collects and how we use it. It is boilerplate intended as a starting point — adapt it to your actual data practices.
1. Local-first by design
The desktop application stores your trading credentials and configuration locally on your machine using file-based encryption, with an optional SQLCipher database. Your API keys are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
2. Information we collect
For account and billing purposes we collect your email address and subscription status. Payment details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored on our servers.
Usage data
Usage data. Poly Market Maker is local-first — your exchange API keys, orders, and positions remain on your device and are never transmitted to us. While you are signed in, the desktop app periodically sends your aggregate traded volume (24-hour, 7-day, and lifetime notional) to our licensing service so we can understand platform usage, measure activity, and support your account. We do not collect your API keys, individual trades, open positions, or profit/loss.
3. How we use information
We use your information to operate your account, process subscriptions, provide support, and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Service providers
We rely on third-party providers for authentication, database hosting, and payments. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.
5. Data retention
We retain account information for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal obligations.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data by contacting us.
